Praying For Others - Good Thing to Keep in Mind

Praying for one another is a Christian duty we all have, but it is also an expression of care and concern for others that we freely give out of Christian love.  All those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ can know that anything they ask of God according to His will, they will have (I John 5:13-15).  The Lord hears and honors the prayers of the righteous.

The Bible tells us in I Timothy 2:1-4 that we should make requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving to God for everyone, for this is pleasing to the Lord "who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."  James 1:22 further instructs us that we are not merely to listen to the Word, but also to do what it says.

When you pray for the needs of others, you are being obedient to the Word of God, and because His will is directly reflected in His Word, you are praying in agreement with Him.  There is great power in agreeing with God and His Word!  Continue to hold up to the Lord those individuals you are concerned about for salvation and for healing.

Continue also to praise God and thank Him for doing a great work in the lives of those you are praying for.  Don't wait to see the physical evidence in their lives.  Believe that your great God keeps all His promises, and stepping out in faith, exalt and honor Him through worship.

Are You Ready???

. . .  an EXCELLENT message for RIGHT NOW!!!

 ~Miz Carol's Daily Uplift!~

Good Morning! When God destroyed the Earth by flood he had made a promise that never would He destroy men by flood water again. God found the righteous man Noah and his family and once again man was living in harmony as God wanted.

But because men are prone to sin and to become evil... man needed a Savior to redeem him from his life of sin. So God sent us a Redeemer, Jesus Christ in order that the gap would be bridged between man and the Almighty.

Man has got to the point now that many have forgotten God's gift of deliverance from sin through Our Deliverer, Jesus Christ. Once again sin reigns in the hearts of men and man seems to have forgotten the Savior and chooses instead to follow satan.

What must God do this time around to cleanse the Earth of sin? It won't be flood waters but cleansing fire and brimstone will destroy the earth and all on it...There will be many who escape this fate....are you worthy or has sin got such a hold on you that you just don't care?
Those who accept JESUS as SAVIOR have nothing and I do mean NOTHING to FEAR...but woe be to those who refuse His GIFT of SALVATION!

Jesus could appear in the clouds of heaven at any time now...will you be ready for him or weeping and shaking in fear?

Jesus tells us in Matthew Chapter 24 verse 44: "Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

Thank You Jesus!

HE IS RISEN!!!

Actually I am posting this a day late, but it explains what "Easter" (I llike to refer to it as "Resurrection Day" because the term Easter was taken from the pagan holiday celebrating "ishtar" the godess of fertility. They originally combined this Holy Holiday with "Ishtar" to try to muddy and blur the significance of the Christian holiday (as the devil AWAYS does, but I'm not going to get into that here.)

Happy (belated) Resurrection Day!!! He is RISEN!!!
Love,

HE IS RISEN!!!!!!!! Today, marks the greatest historical event in human
history...the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The reason the resurrection of
Jesus is the greatest historical event is because it is the absolute key to
our faith. Paul said in his first letter to the church at Corinth in the
15th chapter, that if Christ did not rise from the dead, then we are still
dead in our sin and most vain of all. However, if He did rise from the dead,
then we have the assurance our sins are forgiven and of everlasting life.

You see, Jesus is either the biggest fraud in the history of mankind or He
is exactly who He claims to be...the Son of God. The resurrection is the key
event.

The historical evidence of Christ's resurrection is irrefutable. The fact
that he died on a Roman cross, the claims of followers seeing the risen
Lord, evidence of the empty tomb, the inability of the Jewish leaders to
disprove the resurrection claims in the very city Jesus died and was buried,
and the radical transformation in the lives of His disciples are all well
documented. His disciples went from being normal men concerned only about
their own welfare from the night Jesus was arrested, to bold preachers who
were willing to die for their faith. You also have Jesus' own predictions of
His resurrection as well as the fact that soon after was the birth of the
Christian church that started meeting on Sunday. That is significant since
these were monotheistic Jews who were used to worshipping on Saturday.

My friend, the Christian faith has never meant to be a blind leap in the
dark. God never asked His children to just believe without any evidence of
what we believe in. He has given us plenty of tangible historical evidence
to help us know without a doubt that what is in His inspired, inerrant Word
is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Absolute truth that you can stake your very life on.
Of course, once we get to the point we accept the resurrection as a fact,
and we accept His Word as TRUTH, it then demands that we totally and
unconditionally surrender our very life to Him.

That becomes the logical conclusion of this spiritual journey. Because you
see, it is not our life any longer, it belongs to Him. Our purpose is to
simply serve and glorify Him with our lives. I pray that on this day in
which we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, you will
recommit your life to Him. We can all do better. None of us have given it
ALL to Him...we can give Him more. Make this day the day that you realize
that Jesus rose from the dead, to insure that you will live for eternity
with Him if you have accepted Him into your heart and life by faith.

I love you and care about you so very much. I pray you have a wonderful
Resurrection Day. For those traveling to be with your family, you will be in
my prayers for a safe journey. May you be richly blessed as we stand
together to proclaim to this hurting and dying world that Jesus Christ is
the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings....HE IS RISEN!!!

In His love and service,
